CW330 SERIES EXTENDS PROJECTION POSSIBILITIES FOR CLASSROOMS AND CONFERENCE ROOMS
Panasonic System Communications Company Europe is pleased to announce that the new CW330 Series line-up of ultra short throw projectors have started shipping. The interactive models in the series will follow in June.
Announced at ISE 2013, the new series includes six models; PT-CW330, CW240, CX300, CW331R, CW241R and CX301R, of which the latter three come with an interactive feature and dual pen capability. With a brightness of up to 3,100 lumens and a contrast of 8,000:1, CW330 Series projectors deliver crisp images to classrooms and conference rooms from a very short distance.
PT-CW330, CW240, CW331R and CW241R are WXGA models and are able to project an 80-inch diagonal image from a mere 0.6m away. This enables large image projection without casting shadows onto the screen or dazzling the teacher or presenter. In addition, the built-in interactive feature enables users to write directly onto the image for an engaging classroom session and presentation without requiring a dedicated interactive whiteboard. Auto calibration is aided by the interactive feature; reducing setup time and allowing two people to simultaneously write on the image using the included infrared pen. With excellent sensitivity enabled by the IR pen’s feedback system, lines and letters can be written very naturally and smoothly.
The CW/CX projectors are equipped with 3D capability and compatible with HDMI 1.4a 3D ready Blu-ray Disc™ players which can be connected for 3D classroom education, special projection displays in exhibitions and applications in digital signage. Frame packing, side by side, top and bottom and frame sequential 3D formats are all supported by the CW330 / CW331R Series.
Other useful features include a built in 10 Watt speaker, up to 5,000 hour lamp replacement cycle and Crestron RoomView™ compatibility.
