Panasonic announces plan to develop portrait mode capability to the PT-DZ21K series
World’s smallest and lightest*1 20,000 lm class projector will be further boosted with portrait mode installation
Secaucus, NJ, June 13, 2012 – Panasonic Systems Communications Company of North America, provider of collaboration, information-sharing and decision-support solutions for government and commercial enterprises, today announced the development of portrait mode capability addition to the PT-DZ21K Series, Panasonic’s recently announced flag ship model among its industry’s leading projector lineup offering. Characterized by 20,000 lm*2 of brightness in an unprecedented size and weight, DZ21K series usability will be enhanced in applications such as rental and staging and projection mapping that require versatile installation flexibility.
The addition of portrait mode capability will allow the DZ21K series to be rotated horizontally for upright images. In addition to its high reliability such as 4-lamp system and installation flexibility with various optional lenses, Geometric adjustment function*3 and network capability, portrait mode will surely expand the usage of DZ21K in various applications.
Detailed information and specification of portrait mode usage, and how to update current PT-DZ21K Series will be announced by 2012 Q4.
